An elderly woman from the Wright City area was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle collision in Lincoln County Wednesday, Oct. 4.Mary Harris, 81, was taken to St. Louis University Hospital after the collision involving the Lincoln MKT she was driving and a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Angel Knoverek, 46, of Quincy, Ill.The crash happened in at the intersection of Interstate 61 and Highway W in Lincoln County at 1:35 p.m. According to a Missouri Highway Patrol preliminary report, the two cars drove through the intersection at the same time, Harris going east and Knoverek going south.The front of the Traverse struck the left side of the MKT driven by Harris. She reportedly was not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries. St. Charles County Ambulance responded to the scene and transported Harris to the hospital.Knoverek had minor injuries reported and refused treatment at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt.Both vehicles reportedly were totaled.Crash
