Mr. Edward Eugene Paasch of Warrenton, MO, passed away peacefully at his home, October 23, 2021. He was born November 18, 1946 in St Charles, MO, to Chester and Ethel (Nee: Lynch) Paasch. He had reached the age of 74 years.
Eddie married the love of his life, Gwen Diane Davis, January 30, 1965 in Overland, MO. They were married for 56 wonderful years before her passing March 3, 2021. To this union, two daughters, Dawn and Jaymie were born. Eddie was a Vietnam War veteran that proudly served his country in the United States Navy for almost 4 years earning several medals. He was a deacon of a baptist church in St. Louis in his younger years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He hunted pheasant, turkey and deer with guns he collected throughout the years and with ammunition that he loaded himself. He often took his English Setter Rowdy or his beagles to go pheasant hunting. He enjoyed boating at Lake Norfork and Mark Twain lake pulling his girls around on tubes and skis. He would also fish for bass and taught his girls the same. Eddie enjoyed relaxing listening to his favorite "rock n roll" music from the 50's and 60's. Eddie and Gwen traveled to many places on his Harley Davidson including Sturgis 3 times. What he loved more than anything was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ethel and his loving wife Gwen. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Eakins (Michael), Jaymie McGee (Mickey); grandchildren, Stephen Gross (Amy), Trenton McGee, Nathaniel McGee, Caydence McGee; sister, Peggy Rogers; brother Keith Paasch (Chris); many nieces and nephews, friends and family.
We will Celebrate the Life of Edward Eugene Paasch, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton.
