Police say a woman who drove drunk and caused a vehicle collision in Wright City has a history of driving while intoxicated.Natasha Hunter, 38, was driving with a revoked license when she failed to stop at a stop sign at Aster Drive and Westwoods Road, causing the collision, according to Wright City Police. The crash occurred at about 1:20 p.m. July 27.Hunter reportedly had a strong odor of alcohol and her speech was heavily slurred, according to police. She admitted to drinking before the crash, police said.An alcohol breath test measured Hunter’s blood alcohol concentration at 0.192 percent, more than twice the legal limit.Hunter has at least three prior DWI convictions for incidents in 2010, according to authorities. She also reportedly was arrested three times in May and June this year for DWI, although charges have not been issued in those cases.The charges Hunter now faces are aggravated DWI and driving while revoked, both of which are felonies. She could be forced to pay large fines or imprisoned if she is found guilty.Hunter posted a $7,500 surety bond to be released after being arrested. As a condition to her bond, she is prohibited from possessing or purchasing alcohol, or entering any business that primarily sells alcohol.Natasha Hunter
