The East Central Drug Task Force arrested 40 suspects and served 19 search warrants during the second quarter of 2015.Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison released the activity report for the task force covering the second quarter, which began April 1 and ended June 30.Officers reported the following amounts of drug seizures: cocaine, 343.2 grams; methamphetamine, 2,537.15 grams; heroin, 2 grams; marijuana, 406.7 grams; pseudoephedrine/ephedrine, 23 grams; and prescription drugs/pills, 79 units. The task force also seized 16 firearms and disassembled seven meth labs during the second quarter.The task force is a multi-jurisdictional force that serves Warren, Audrain, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery and Pike counties. Local agencies that are members are the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Warrenton Police Department.The task force is under the direction of the participating law enforcement agencies, with the daily operation supervised by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
