The East Central Drug Task Force seized 1,346.5 grams of methamphetamine and 705 grams of marijuana during the first quarter of 2014.Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison released the activity report for the task force covering the first quarter, which began April 1 and ended June 30.Officers also confiscated 5.25 grams of heroin, 8.5 grams of pseudoephedrine and 172 units of prescription drugs/pills.The task force is a multijurisdictional force that serves Warren, Audrain, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery and Pike counties. Local agencies that are members are the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Warrenton Police Department.The task force is under the direction of the participating law enforcement agencies, with the daily operation supervised by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.Also during the first quarter, the task force seized nine firearms, disassembled 11 meth labs, served 24 search warrants and arrested 53 suspects.Drug task force releases first quarter activity
