A 17-year-old Truesdale resident faces four charges, including heroin possession, after allegedly taking her father’s car to purchase drugs.Renee Ponder, is charged in a Warren County felony complaint with first-degree tampering with a vehicle, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin and Suboxone) and unlawful use of a drug paraphernalia.The charges stem from a traffic stop June 4 by Truesdale Police Officer Casey Doyle.Doyle stopped Ponder around 11:30 p.m. while investigating a report of vehicle theft from 244 Conrad Circle in Tuesdale. According to Doyle’s report, Ponder allegedly admitted to taking her father’s car that morning, without permission, to purchase narcotics. After searching the vehicle, Doyle said he found bags containing three pills, a straw containing an unknown residue and a spoon and cotton swabs also containing an unknown residue.After conducting a field test, Doyle said both the straw and spoon tested positive for heroin.Ponder’s bond was set at $30,000.Crime
