A convicted narcotics dealer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.Thomas M. Timmermeier III, 29, Montgomery City, was arrested Aug. 1, 2017, after police found numerous bags of suspected methamphetamine and heroin in his vehicle at Abel’s Quik Shop in Wright City, along with a large amount of cash.Timmermeier pleaded guilty March 15 to charges of delivery of a controlled substance, resisting arrest for a felony, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked. He was sentenced the same day by Presiding Circuit Court Judge Wes Dalton. In addition to the prison sentence, Timmermeier will be required to complete a one-year substance abuse program.Another suspect arrested at the same time, Wendy N. Meyers, 41, remains charged for delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Pill bottles and several ledgers containing information about prescription narcotic sales were found in her possession, police said.Meyers’ next court hearing is March 28 at the Warren County Circuit Court. The two suspects were originally noticed by police at Abel’s responding to a report of property damage. Timmermeier and Meyers were in a pickup truck in the parking lot of the convenience store, and ducked down in the vehicle whenever police looked at them, according to a police report. An officer spoke to the occupants and opened the vehicle door, observing a bag of what appeared to be heroin hanging out of Timmermeier’s pocket. He attempted to flee, before the officer subdued him with a stun gun.
