Warren County Sheriff's Deputy Lance Johnson conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without license plates traveling south on State Highway F in Warren County on the afternoon of Sept. 21.
He identified the driver as Nathaniel Major, 26, of Wright City, and two passengers as Devin Graves, 28, of Wentzville and Taylor Greenfield, 32, of Warrenton, according to the probable cause statement.
In his report, Johnson said he had reasonable suspicion to suspect there were narcotics in the vehicle and called for a K-9 unit.
The K-9 alerted to the vehicle, according to the probable cause statement, and Johnson proceeded to search the vehicle.
During the search, Johnson found a bag of what a field test confirmed to be 29 grams of methamphetamine, according to the probable cause statement. All three suspects denied posessing the drugs.
The probable cause statement noted the bag was easily accessible and appeared to be recently packaged. Due to the amount of meth discovered, all three suspects were charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony.
Warrants have been issued for their arrests and they are to be held without bond.
