A bicyclist struck on the I-70 North Outer Road on Thursday was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to Missouri Highway Patrol.
Ray C. Hinchsliff, 59, of Wentzville, was riding a bike westbound near Cotton Road in Foristell when he was struck around 4:50 p.m. July 1, according to a highway patrol crash report. The patrol said he was hit by a 2007 GMC Envoy driven by Jerome L. Zeilman, 91, of Wight City.
The highway patrol said Zeilman was driving westbound, the same direction as Hinchsliff. Zeilman's vehicle struck Hinchsliff's bike as it was passing him, the patrol said. Zeilman was not reported to be injured.
