One driver was injured Monday morning when he reportedly fell asleep and crashed on Highway 47 near Hopewell.Christopher S. Jenkins, 31, Warrenton, sustained moderate injuries in the crash, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report. He was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington.The patrol said Jenkins was driving a 2009 Ford Fusion southbound when he fell asleep at the wheel around 7:50 a.m. The car drove off the right side of the road north of Coventry Circle and struck an embankment.Jenkins was wearing a seat belt during the crash, the patrol said.Crash
