Mrs. Donna Louise Bedsworth (nee: Healy) of Warrenton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 18. She was born on August 20, 1956, in St. Louis to Don and Mary (nee: Bakula) Healy. Donna had reached the age of 67 years.
Donna earned her Bachelors Degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia and then began her career in Social Work. She was employed for many years in Warrenton, where she worked as the supervisor for the Warren County Social Services Children's Division. Donna was united in marriage to Ronnie Lee Bedsworth on March 10, 1984, in Bridgeton. They celebrated 24 wonderful years together before his passing in 2008. She enjoyed scrapbooking in her spare time. Most days, Donna could be found caring for her grandchildren, which was her greatest joy. She loved the boys and had a special bond with each of them. Donna was a very caring, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend to many.
Donna Bedsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Bedsworth; one daughter, Tiffany Bedsworth; mother, Mary Healy; sister, Kelly Ann Healy. Surviving family members include her daughters, Laura Bedsworth and Deserae Bedsworth; her father, Don Healy; three grandsons, Ronnie Davis, Alexander Davis and Logan Davis; several other relatives and many close friends.
Donna's family will be hosting a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, October 3, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. They then will honor Donna with a Celebration of Life Service, also on Tuesday, October 3, beginning at 12 P.M. A burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
