A 41-year-old Wright City man was observed lying on top of his girlfriend in the middle of Highway M during a domestic assault case that resulted in his arrest Saturday night, April 16.The suspect, John T. Pratt, of the 13000 block of Point Maple Drive, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.Warren County deputies were dispatched to a Wright City restaurant where witnesses reported Pratt had placed his hands around the female victim’s neck and shook her violently, according to the probable cause statement.
