A 41-year-old Wright City man was observed lying on top of his girlfriend in the middle of Highway M during a domestic assault case that resulted in his arrest Saturday night, April 16.The suspect, John T. Pratt, of the 13000 block of Point Maple Drive, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.Warren County deputies were dispatched to a Wright City restaurant where witnesses reported Pratt had placed his hands around the female victim’s neck and shook her violently, according to the probable cause statement. The couple had left the restaurant prior to the arrival of police. A deputy then located them at the intersection of Highway M and Fruit Farm Road.Crime
