A Warrenton man was arrested after an alleged assault that injured a woman Thursday, April 13.Kelvin W. Perkins, 53, was arrested after the victim reported to the Warren County Sheriff’s office the assault that occurred the previous day at a residence in the 16000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, authorities said.The woman reported that Perkins woke her up while holding a hammer and allegedly threatening to strike her in the head. She stated that Perkins punched her in the face multiple times.The victim’s nose was bleeding. She had an abrasion and her left eye was starting to swell when she came to the sheriff’s department, according to the report.Perkins has an arraignment scheduled for April 25 at the Warren County Circuit Court.Crime
