A Wright City man has been charged with felony domestic assault following an alleged incident on Sept. 4.
According to a probable cause statement, Warrenton police responded to a gas station where they found James Allen Davison near the pumps and appearing heavily intoxicated.
Inside the station’s bathroom, officers located the female victim, who reported that Davison had struck her multiple times in the face while she was driving. Police noted red marks on her cheeks, according to the probable cause statement.
Davison, of the 17000 block of Keller Drive, denied hitting the victim and claimed she had thrown his phone out the vehicle window, according to the report.
