Warren County authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Florida woman who allegedly tried to stab a relative in Wright City.Valeria Hendricks, 57, of Seminole, Fla., is charged with second-degree assault, a Class D felony. The warrant includes a $5,000 bond.The conflict leading to the charge happened Jan. 24. Warren County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Carriage Oaks Court south of Wright City to respond to the alleged assault.The reported victim, a relative of Hendricks, told deputies they had been involved in an argument, according to a report seeking charges against Hendricks. The victim stated that he went to his bedroom to calm down.Maybe 10 minutes later, the victim alleged that Hendricks entered the room with a knife, held it above him and stated that she was going to kill him.The two reportedly struggled over the knife, during which the victim received cuts to each thumb that were observed by deputies, according to the report.Deputies spoke with Hendricks, who stated several times that she was going to kill the victim and admitted to attempting to stab him, saying that she was not afraid of him.The assault charge against Hendricks has a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.Arrest
