A 47-year-old Defiance man was killed Saturday night, Oct. 10, when he lost control of the agricultural vehicle he was driving and was ejected.
Authorities identified the driver as Joseph D. Busch. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the fatal accident was reported at 5 p.m. in a field north of Peers Bluff Road and Liermann Road.
Busch was driving a 1974 Terra Gator up a hill when the vehicle began to roll backwards and traveled down an embankment. The vehicle overturned twice, ejecting Busch.
Busch was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:22 p.m.
Fatal accident
