July 11 is the deadline for Warren County residents to register to vote in the Aug. 7 elections.Residents who are not registered voters can register at the county clerk’s office in the County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane in Warrenton. The clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Voters should also remember that a photo ID is required to vote. That can include a government-issued driver or non-driver license, a passport or a military ID.Those who don’t have a valid ID can vote if they sign a form confirming their identity and show a voter registration card, a school ID, a bill, a paycheck, or a government document with their name and address. People can also fill out a provisional ballot that will count if their signature matches the state voter registry.Registered voters who have changed their addresses must also update their registrations. More information on voter registration can be obtained by calling the county clerk’s office at 636-456-3331.If you want a photo ID to vote and don’t have one, the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office will help you obtain one nondriver license for free.
