The Wright City Wildcat track and field teams won five events at last week’s EMO Conference meet.
Wildcat runner Jeremiah Davis won three events at the EMO meet. He won both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. He finished the 100-meter dash in 11.40. He finished the 200-meter dash in 23.43. Davis teamed up with Devin Myers, Demetrice Le Noir and Jacob Smith to win the 4x200-meter relay race. They finished with a time of 1:33.96. Myers, Le Noir, Smith and Davis placed second in the 4x100-meter relay race. They finished with a time of 45:01. David Riggs finished second in the 800-meter run. He finished with a time of 2:06.13.
The Wright City boys track and field team placed fifth in the conference meet. They finished with 68 points.
Lady Wildcat runner Elizabeth Riggs won two events. She placed first in the 300-meter hurdle race. She finished with a time of 49.80. Riggs teamed up with Hailey Henson, Lindsay Pettus and Lydia Clubb to win the 4x400-meter relay race. They finished with a time of 4:33.18.
Zoe Riggs placed third in the 800-meter run, 1,600-meter run and 3,200 meter run. She finished the 800-meter run in 2:45.77. She finished the 1,600-meter run and 3,200-meter run in 5:32.43 and 13:05.48.
The Lady Wildcats placed third in the 4x200-meter relay race. Clubb, Pettus, Teagen Riley and Elizabeth Riggs finished the relay in 1:56.10.
The Wright City Lady Wildcats finished fourth in the conference meet. They finished with 70 points.
