Dates set for Warren County flu clinics

The Warren County Health Department is holding flu shot clinics for adults at its office at 101 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 100, in Warrenton. 

No appointments are needed for these clinics:  

• Thursday, Oct. 12, 1-3 p.m.     

• Tuesday, Oct. 24,  9-11 a.m.     

• Thursday, Nov. 2, 1-3 p.m.      

• Tuesday, Nov. 14,  9-11 a.m.     

• Tuesday, Nov. 28, 9-11 a.m.       

The flu shot is free to senior citizens whose primary health insurance is Medicare Part B. Medicare Part B carriers need to have their cards with them to receive a free shot.  

The Health Department is unable to bill other insurance carriers. 

Flu shots otherwise cost $35 cash or check. There is an additional $2 processing fee for debit and credit card transactions. 

Individuals who are 65 and older will receive a high dose vaccine.

People 18 and younger who need flu shots should call 636-456-7474 to make an appointment.
