If you could visit one place in the world where would it be and why? If I could visit one place in the world, it would be Mexico. As a proud Hispanic, it is incredibly important to me to visit my dad’s side of the family and experience the culture that is such a big part of who I am. Even though they live thousands of miles away, they have always been some of my biggest supporters. Every December, I have the opportunity to visit them and spend Christmas and New Year’s together. Those trips allow me to reconnect with my family, embrace my heritage, and create memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
Who do you most look up to? The people I look up to the most are my parents. My mom has always encouraged me to chase my goals and has supported me through everything I have done. She has taught me the importance of treating everyone with kindness, compassion, and respect. My dad has inspired me to work twice as hard for everything I want. He has taught me that if I truly want something, I have to be willing to work for it. No matter how long it takes, the journey and the experience are just as important as reaching the goal. Because of both of my parents, I have learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and always staying true to myself.
How do you manage your time with all of your activities? Managing my time comes down to staying organized and knowing my priorities. Between school, work, FFA, 4-H, community service, and spending time with my family, I have learned that planning ahead is essential. I use a calendar to keep track of my responsibilities and make sure I stay on top of deadlines. I also understand that sometimes sacrifices have to be made, whether that means giving up free time or working late to get everything done. Staying busy has taught me responsibility, discipline, and the importance of balancing my commitments while still making time for the people and activities that matter most.
What do you love about school? I love that schools offer an agricultural education. These classes have shaped me as a person and gave me so many opportunities that I will never forget.
What is something you are proud of accomplishing this year? One accomplishment I am especially proud of this year was being crowned the 2026 Warren County Fair Queen. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an incredible honor. I am so grateful to have been chosen to represent not only my county, but also to serve as a positive role model for the younger generation. This experience has strengthened my confidence, leadership skills, and passion for giving back to my community. I hope to inspire others to work hard, believe in themselves, and never be afraid to chase their goals.
Which class or activity has inspired you the most, and why? Agricultural education has inspired me the most. It has helped me discover my passion, build leadership skills, and prepared me for my future career in agriculture.
What activities are you the most passionate about? I am most passionate about showing livestock and mentoring youth. Every year I apply to be an intern at the Goat Expo in Sedalia, Missouri, and I love helping younger exhibitors learn, grow, and build confidence through agriculture.
