If you could visit one place in the world, where would it be and why? If I could visit anywhere, I would visit Hawaii because it is a gorgeous place, there is clear waters and so many fun things to do.
Who do you most look up to? I truly look up to my mom more than anyone else in my life. She’s been an incredible source of strength and guidance throughout my entire life, consistently offering unwavering support and love. I admire her resilience in facing challenges, her empathy towards everyone, and her ability to always find a silver lining. She’s tough me the importance of hard work, integrity and compassion, shaping me into the person I am today. Her wisdom and gentle encouragement have helped me navigate countless obstacles, and I’m constantly inspired by her unwavering positive spirit.
How do you manage your time while being involved with school and in the activities and clubs you are? There is a lot to think about when managing school, activities I’m in, work, and hanging out with my friends and family. I plan ahead for a lot of things and there is many times when I realize that you can’t do everything and be everywhere at once. I also put my main priorities first like school and work and meetings I have to go to for clubs. My main source for planning is normally the calendar on my phone since I always have it. Another thing I prioritize is deadlines so I am not turning in work for school or even showing up to places late. There is a lot of planning that happens when I am trying to do stuff.
What do you love about school? I love that there is so many people to talk to also the kind genuine staff and teachers that are there to help anyone if they ever need it.
What is something you are proud of accomplishing this year? I am proud of accomplishing becoming a HOSA officer, making new friends and having the opportunity to do everything I have the chance to do.
Which class or activity has inspired you the most, why? The class that has inspired me the most would have to be Mrs. Beckerdite’s Government class. It wasn’t just the subject matter that made it impactful but Mrs. Beckerdite herself. She was genuinely the kindest teacher, always approachable and ready to listen. Knowing she was also there for anyone who needed support, whether it was with schoolwork or just needing someone to talk to, made her class a truly inspiring and comforting environment.
What activities are you the most passionate about? I am most passionate about being able to be a manager for softball and all the kind people that play also getting to be apart of NHS and getting to help the community.
What is something most people don't know about you? Something that most people don’t know about me is that I’ve broke 6 bones but thankfully i haven’t broken and bone since 2017 (knock on wood) and the bone I broke in 2017 was on New Years and it was my worst one.
