Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Sturgeon (nee: Kastner) of Warrenton passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022. She was born on May 29, 1962, in St. Louis to the late William and Jacqueline Kastner (nee: McEntee). Cynthia had reached the age of 60 years.
Cindy was a member of Warrenton Community Church for many years and devoted much of her time serving any way she could. She loved being a Grammy, or as some call her, "Grammy Cracker," and adored each of her grandchildren. Spending time with her family is what she loved the most.
Cindy was the very proud mother of Lauren (Josh) Hall, Joshua (Elizabeth) Sturgeon and Kaitlyn Sturgeon; loving grandmother of Nolan, Lydia, Josephine, Isaiah, and Leland; dear sister of Bill (TC) Kastner; and ex-wife of Robert Sturgeon, Jr. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Jacqueline; brother, Robert Kastner; and one son, Anthony Sturgeon. Cindy was a devoted Christian, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Warrenton Community Church. Online condolences may be made at www.martinfuneral.net.
