Glenn Craig, of Wright City, is the new Coroner for Warren County.Missouri Gov, Jay Nixon appointed Craig to the position after the resignation of previous Coroner Roger Mauzy, who was elected Warren County Presiding Commissioner.The Governor's office made the announcement on Friday.Craig, a Democrat, has been a Missouri-licensed EMT and paramedic for more than 20 years. He currently is a paramedic/firefighter for the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District, and previously was a paramedic for the Warren County Ambulance District. From 2005 to 2012, he was a part-time medical legal death investigator for the St. Louis Medical Examiner’s Officer. Craig also is an adjunct instructor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.“Glenn Craig has two decades of experience as an emergency responder and as an instructor in the field of emergency response,” Gov. Nixon said. “I am pleased to appoint him to this position, and am confident he will ably serve the citizens of Warren County.”
