The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will host a COVID-19 test event June 17 in Warren County, according to the Warren County Health Department.
Community testing is done in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and The Missouri National Guard.
The community testing event will be June 17 at the Faith Christian Family Church parking lot, located at 17350 E. Veterans Memorial Parkway, Wright City, MO 63390. Testing is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Any Missouri residents who wish to be tested with a nasal swab to see if they have active COVID-19 infection can do so free of charge. You do not have to have any symptoms to get tested. Testing is free. You do not need to be a resident of Warren County to get tested at this site.
The tests being offered are a type that identifies active cases of COVID-19 at the time of testing, the health department said.
You need to pre-register to get tested. Appointments are available through DHSS at www.health.mo.gov/communitytest or by calling the state hotline at (877) 435- 8411. Individuals will be given a 15-minute appointment block.
