A Warren County woman has been charged with felony domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child after a conflict at a home on Godt Road.
Cera M. Moritz, 31, was charged and arrested April 19 for the alleged incident, which was reported a day prior.
A Warren County sheriff’s deputy was called to the home on Godt Road around 3:30 p.m., and spoke to a male who alleged that Moritz assaulted him during a verbal argument that turned physical. The man reported that Moritz tripped and fell, then stood up and began punching him in the chest.
During the fight, a teenage juvenile reportedly tried to get in between the two adults. The juvenile reported to deputies that Moritz then punched her once in the face. The juvenile also alleged that Moritz separately threw a pomade container that hit her in the head.
Moritz is being held at the Warren County Jail. She had a hearing scheduled for April 28 in Warren County Circuit Court.
