Just under one-third of the registered voters in Warren County made it to the polls on Tuesday.Warren County Clerk Barbara Daly was spot on with her prediction of voter turnout for the Missouri primary election.Thirty-one percent of the 21,937 registered voters in Warren County cast 6,991 ballots.Daly added all election functions in the county ran smoothly and no major problems were reported.“It was pretty much like we expected,” Daly said. “It might be higher, or it might be lower. You just never know.”She and her staff will take a few days to recoup and then begin the process of gearing up for the Nov. 8 general election, in which she expects high voter turnout due to the presidential election.Voter turnout
