Warren County tax payments for 2016 must be received or postmarked by Dec. 31.Residents will receive their tax bills by mail around Veterans Day.Payments can be made by mail to the Warren County Collector, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 200, Warrenton, MO 63383; or can be dropped off at the drop box on the right side of the door at the Warren County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane.Payments also can be made online at www.warrencountymo.org under the collector tab.Payments made before Dec. 31, or postmarked by Dec. 31, will avoid late penalties and fees. However, the office will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 31.The failure of the taxpayer to receive the notice provided for in Section 52.230, RSMo in no case relieves the taxpayer of any tax liability imposed by law.Residents who own property or vehicles who do not receive a tax bill do owe taxes and should call the collector’s office for assistance to avoid penalties.For more information, contact the collector’s office at 636-456-3330.County taxes
