Costello, who was elected mayor in 2008, served as an alderman for two separate terms in 2003 and 2006. He served as mayor for 12 years, from 1986 to 1998, before taking a break from public office. In Truesdale, incumbent Rhonda Colombo has filed for one of two alderman seats. Cliff Tucker has joined the race for two seats on the Warren County R-III School Board. He joins incumbent Jan Sutherland and Scott Costello. Incumbents Austin Jones and Mary Groeper are running for re-election to the Wright City R-II School Board. No new filings have occurred in the past week in Wright City. So far, incumbent Mayor Roy White will face former challenger Bill Schaffer.
