Concerts in the Park Series to Resume

The Warren County Fine Arts Council, in cooperation with the cities of Warrenton, Wright City and Marthasville, will resume its Concerts in the Park series this summer. Scheduled musical acts will perform a variety of styles, including bluegrass, classic rock, country, blues and jazz. Events are open to the public and there will be no charge to attend. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs coolers are welcome. The series will kick off Thursday, June 13, when Three Point Hitch performs from 7-9 p.m. at Dyer Park in Warrenton. Monthly concerts in Warrenton and Wright will be held from 7-9 p.m. and from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Marthasville. Locations for the concerts will be Dyer Park in Warrenton, Diekroeger Park in Wright City and the City Park Pavilion in Marthasville. Other scheduled acts include: Blues Racket - June 18 at Wright City; Jimmie Allison and Ozark Ramblers - June 28 at Marthasville; Melissa Neels Band - July 11 at Warrenton; Powell Street Jazz - July 16 at Wright City; Yukon Jake - July 26 at Marthasville; Rickie Lee Tanner - Aug. 8 at Warrenton; Rich Helton and Friends - Aug. 20 at Wright City; and Bag Lunch Blues Band - Aug. 23 at Marthasville.

Three Point Hitch will perform Thursday, June 13, at Dyer Park in Warrenton. The concert will serve to kick off the 2013 Concerts in the Park season sponsored by the Warren County Fine Arts Council in cooperation with the cities of Warrenton, Wright City and Marthasville.
