Commencement exercises are scheduled to be held this Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18, at Warren County’s two public high schools. Graduation at Wright City R-II High School is set to begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, at the athletic field if the weather is favorable, according to Jill Smoot, executive administrative assistant to the superintendent. If inclement weather is present, commencement will be moved into the gymnasium. Warren County R-III High School also plans to hold its graduation ceremonies on the athletic field starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, according to Jeremy Way, high school principal. However, if the weather will not permit the event to be held outdoors, the event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. Way noted that if commencement exercises must be moved inside, only people who have tickets will be admitted. Keep Calm and Graduate Picture
