On Feb. 9, the College United Methodist Church in Warrenton participated in the national Soup-er Bowl collection to go along with the Super Bowl.
Cans of soup were collected and donated to local food pantries, and College United donated to Agape.
The church collected 1,640 cans of soup that the youth group counted and assembled into a castle before donation.
The church also held a soup lunch after services that Sunday and raised an additional $1,000 for Agape.
