Wright City juniors Lydia Clubb and Paige Rees recently received all-state recognition.
Clubb was named to the Class 3 all-state first team. Clubb was named to the second team last season. Clubb finished the 2023 season with a .689 batting average, seven home runs and 37 RBIs. She also had 12 doubles and seven triples. She scored 47 runs and stole 18 bases. Clubb was also named to the all-region and all-district first teams.
Rees was named to the Class 3 all-state second team. She was named to the all-region and all-district first teams. She finished the season with a .500 batting average. She hit three home runs and had 17 RBIs. She also registered 14 doubles and three triples.
Emma Staats was named to the all-region first team. Staats and Sophia Wegrzyn were named to the all-district first team. Sadie Sehnert was named to the all-district second team.
