Several holiday events will be held in Wright City in December. Here are a few of them:The Christmas parade will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1. The parade will start at Ruge Park and end at Diekroeger Park.After the parade, guests can visit with Santa and enjoy refreshments at the Wil Heiliger Activity Building. The event is sponsored by the Wright City Parks and Recreation Department, the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce and Wright City Student Council.Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Wil Heiliger Activity Building at Diekroeger Park. A pancake breakfast is being served.Children 10 and under eat free. For everyone else, it’s $3. Guests can visit and get their pictures taken with Santa.The event is sponsored by the Wright City Parks and Recreation Department, the Wright City High School Student Council, the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Wright City Parents as Teachers.Also on Saturday, Dec. 3, the city will host the Ugly Sweater 5K run/walk at Diekroeger Park.
