Three Wright City residents are facing multiple felony charges after deputies allegedly found three meth labs in a home with children inside. Alychia R. Cooper, 33, Ashley N. O’Haver, 28, and Jeromy F. Golden,19, are each charged with two counts of distribution/delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance and two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child in the incident. According to Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison, on Nov. 24 deputies were dispatched to the area of Arbrolat Road in Wright City after a 911 operator received a hang-up call from a cell- phone at 6:17 a.m. The dispatcher heard some commotion in the background before the hang up and said it sounded like a domestic disturbance. Authorities were able to trace the phone call to a general location and deputies began to canvass the area. Upon reaching a house in the 23000 block Arbrolat Road, deputies reported smelling starter fluid coming from a residence. They also noticed discarded methamphetamine paraphernalia in a burn pile outside the home. Harrison said the occupants of the home refused to let deputies in to search, so they secured the home until a search warrant could be obtained. Upon executing the search warrant, deputies found two active meth labs and multiple chemicals in the master bedroom, approximately 5 feet from where a 3-year-old child was sleeping, according to reports. Another inactive meth lab was found in another bedroom, approximately 10 feet from where two young teenage children were sleeping. Deputies also found several grams of packaged methamphetamine in the home. The three children were removed from the home and taken into protective custody. Cooper, O’Haver and Golden remain in custody at the Warren County Jail, each with a $50,000 cash-only bond.
