A crash on Highway 94 in St. Charles County Saturday, July 22, put a Wright City man in the hospital, along with a woman from Ballwin and a 12-year-old girl.Ian Maples, 22, Wright City, was west of Weldon Spring, driving eastbound in a Toyota Camry sedan, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report. Also in the vehicle was Sylvia Maples, 12, St. Charles.According to the patrol, Ian Maples lost control of the vehicle just before 3 p.m. The Toyota crossed into the westbound lane, striking the side of a Chevy Traverse SUV driven by Deborah Sinn, 52, Ballwin.Neither Ian Maples nor Sylvia Maples were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the patrol said. Sylvia Maples was seriously injured and was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Ian Maples had moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, according to the patrol.Sinn, who was wearing a seat belt, also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.Crash
