A 19-year-old Dent County woman is suspected of molesting a boy who was 13 at the time.Charges have been issued against Terissa M. Beyer for the alleged encounter reported to have occurred at a residence on Honeysuckle Court in Warrenton in June 2016, according to the Warrenton Police Department.Warrenton police were contacted about the incident in August by the Missouri Department of Social Services. During a forensic interview, the victim said Beyer undressed in front of him in his bedroom while he told her to stop. He alleged that Beyer removed his clothing and held him down while forcing him to engage in sexual contact.Beyer was interviewed by police in December. She reportedly said that the young male asked her to engage in the sexual contact and nothing was forced on him. She allegedly stated that the ages of both individuals were known to each other at the time.A warrant was issued for Beyer’s arrest Wednesday, May 24, for first-degree child molestation, which was reclassified as Class A felony in August 2016. That would normally come with a penalty of 10 to 30 years in prison, but because the alleged crime was committed while it was still considered a Class B felony, Beyer would only face five to 15 years if convicted. She will be held on a $50,000, cash-only bond once apprehended, according to court documents.Crime
