Warren County authorities have issued criminal charges against a man who they say had sex with an underage girl.Terrance J. Pherigo, 20, Warrenton, is charged with two counts of child molestation, a class E felony. He allegedly had two sexual encounters with a 15-year-old girl in April of this year.A Wright City Police report states the juvenile involved spoke to police in late April and said the sexual encounters had occurred twice within a week at a home on Westwoods Road.Pherigo allegedly admitted to the incidents during a subsequent interview with police.Police said a text message conversation between Pherigo and the juvenile revealed that Pherigo had asked her age and was told she was 15.The warrant for Pherigo’s arrest includes a $5,000 bond.Pherigo has previous felony charges for first-degree burglary and stealing $750 or more. He was convicted in February 2018 and was given five years of state-supervised probation.Terrance Pherigo
