Charles Duaine Kallenbach

Mr. Charles Duaine Kallenbach of Warrenton passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born on Oct. 9, 1935, in Tuscumbia, MO, to the late Charles Edison and Wilma Ruth (nee: Connell) Kallenbach. Charles had reached the age of 87 years.

Charles proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1958-1960. He was united in marriage to Billie Sue Albertson on Dec. 24, 1958, in Tuscumbia. To this union, two children were born, Karl and Rhonda. Charles was a member of the Warrenton Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder for over 25 years. He was a member of Teamsters Union and worked for International Shoe Co., Odorite and Gateway Refrigeration. Charles enjoyed working outside in his garden and tinkering around in his garage. He also enjoyed working on his cars. His greatest joy came from playing with and spoiling his five granddaughters and then later, his great-grandchildren. He was affectionately known as "Fafe." Charles will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and faithful Christian.

Charles Kallenbach was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilma; one sister, Hazel Frisby and husband, James; and one brother, Winfred Kallenbach. Those family members who will remain grateful for having shared in Charles' life are his loving wife of 63 years, Billie Sue Kallenbach; one son, Karl Kallenbach (Laura) of Warrenton; one daughter, Rhonda Cloud (Ernst Wedge) of Dover, AR; five grandchildren, Kaylyn Ruebling (Steven) of Warrenton, DeiDre Cotton (Ryan) of Fayetteville, AR, Deborah Arambula (Israel) of Russellville, AR, Erin Ekstam (Chase) of Springfield, MO, and Kirstie Stauffer (Cory) of Lebanon, MO; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Brice Denzel Kallenbach (Betty Jo) of Eldon; sister-in-law, Grace Kallenbach; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Mr. Charles Kallenbach will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 10-11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will immediately follow, also at the funeral home. Mr. Kallenbach will be laid to rest at Eugene Cemetery, Eugene, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to Sacred Selections, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main St. Warrenton, MO 63383.
