Multiple criminal charges have been filed against a Wright City man who led police on a vehicle pursuit April 16.An arrest warrant was issued Friday for John Robert Wright III, 45, of the 13000 block of Talley Drive. He has been charged with two felonies for unlawful possession of an illegal weapon and resisting arrest and one misdemeanor charge for unlawful possession of an illegal weapon.According to the probable cause statement, Wright City police seized brass knuckles and a switchblade knife in the vehicle he was driving. Wright allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign in Wright City at the intersection of Highway F and Southwest Avenue around 9:36 p.m. He sped from police and the pursuit ended when he was later apprehended by Warren County deputies.Crime
