Warren County prosecutors have charged an area man with second-degree child molestation after the parent of a juvenile reported him to authorities.

Lee B. Jones, 53, was charged on Sept. 29 and arrested the next day. Associate Circuit Judge Richard Scheibe has ordered he be held at the Warren County Jail with no bond.

According to court documents, sheriff’s deputies were contacted Sept. 28 by a woman who said her 16-year-old daughter had alerted her to inappropriate contact that allegedly occurred several days prior at Jones’ home on Log Cabin Road south of Innsbrook.

According to what the mother told investigators, her daughter disclosed that Jones had intentionally touched her breast while holding her in place. The woman claimed that she had uncovered a pattern of similar behavior allegedly involving Jones and other juvenile females.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department said it had the woman make a monitored phone call to Jones and confront him about the incident. Jones allegedly stated that he had drank too much and didn’t remember what had happened.

When asked if Jones had committed similar behavior with multiple girls, he reportedly gave a confused reply and then allegedly stated “If they say I did it, I must have.”

Jones had a bond review hearing scheduled for Oct. 7 in Warren County Circuit Court.
