UPDATE: Details on police esort are now finalized.A ceremony will be held Sunday at Warrenton High School to honor the state champion softball team. The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.The Warriors clinched the school's first team state championship with a dominant 12-2 win over Cape Notre Dame Saturday night. They finished the year with a 28-2 record. A police escort will also be held earlier in the day with the team expecting to return around 1-1:30 p.m. They will be escorted through town on Highway 47, turn at Anwijo Way and go through the Walmart parking lot. They will head back south on Highway 47 and take Warrior Avenue to the high school.
