The Rev. Dr. Rudy A. Pulido assumed the pastorate of Central Grove United Methodist Church and Smith Creek United Methodist Church on July 1.A resident of St. Louis County, he has served as senior pastor of a church in St. Louis City for 30 years. Upon retirement, Pulido and his wife, Doris, decided to continue their ministry by serving smaller congregations either as a transitional pastor or a part-time pastor.Pulido presently serves as a member of the St. Louis Interfaith Cabinet, the Worker’s Right Board of Jobs with Justice, and the board of the St. Louis Chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. He has been honored for his work in protecting and promoting religious liberty in our state.Pulido and Doris have two children. A son, Scott, lives in the Kansas City metropolitan area and a daughter, Jennifer, lives in the St. Louis metropolitan area. They have six grandchildren.The Sunday worship service at Central Grove United Methodist Church is at 8:45 a.m. and the worship service at Smith Creek United Methodist is at 10:30 a.m.Rudy Pulido
