Census: Warren County’s population went up in 2014

Warren County’s population increased in 2014, according to new estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.The population in July 2013 was 33,010, and in 2014 it was 33,253.That is an increase of 243 people.From July 2013 to July 2014 there were 404 births and 280 deaths in Warren County.In other years the Warren County population was 2010, 32,574; 2011, 32,614; and 2012, 32,785.The Census Bureau released last week new population estimates for counties and metro areas.Franklin County’s population also increased in 2014, according to the new figures.The estimate shows that Franklin County’s population grew from 101,757 in July 2013 to 102,084 in July 2014.That is an increase of 327 people.The data show that there were 1,249 births in Franklin County from July 2013 to July 2014 and 931 deaths.In other years the population of Franklin County was 2010, 101,537; 2011, 101,648; and 2012, 101,386.The St. Louis Metropolitan Area also saw an increase in population in 2014, the data show. The 2014 population was 2,806,207, up 4,620 from 2013.In other years, the population of the metro area was 2012, 2,797,281; 2011, 2,793,725; and 2010, 2,789,886.U.S. Census Bureau
