Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event venue in Wright City, recently held a wine tasting event that raised $2,000 for the USO of Missouri, Inc.The United Service Organizations (USO) of Missouri serves the military and their families in the state of Missouri, as well as the Illinois counties of Jersey, Madison, Monroe and St. Clair.Founded in 1941 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the USO is a full-service nonprofit agency that responds to the morale, welfare and recreational needs of the military community. Since 1981, more than 5 million traveling military and their families have benefited from the USO of Missouri’s services.“We have hosted their wine tasting fundraiser for many years, and we are proud of our ongoing alliance,” said Cedar Lake Cellars’ owner Carl Bolm.“Our winery supports this very relevant nonprofit organization, which continues to help our military and their families.”Cedar Lake Cellars
