Catherine Sue (Hollingsworth) Wolff, 67, of Galena, Missouri, passed away April 24. A private service was held for her at Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reed Springs, Mo. Born in Wyandott County, Kansas City, KS, Cathy spent most of her youth in Cassville. She received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from SMSU, Springfield. She spent the majority of her career as an elementary educator and later in Administration for the Blue Eye, school system. Her passion for teaching was the drive for her career. She touched the lives of many young children. Cathy loved being outdoors, taking care of her flowers and gardens, doing cross stitching, sewing and reading books. She had a love for all of her pet cats and dogs and they had a love for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Carol (Sleezer) Hollingsworth of Cassville. She is survived by her husband, Dennis, of Galena, son, Travis and wife Yvette of Ozark, and son Isaac of Galena, grandchildren Austin and Adeline, sister Cindy and husband Greg Chadd of Cassville, brother Cecil Hollingsworth of Cassville, and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
