Filing closed at the end of business Tuesday for individuals seeking office for the April 4 municipal elections. In Warrenton, the offices of mayor and one alderman in each ward are on the April ballot. Each is a two-year term. Incumbent Mayor Eric Schleuter filed for re-election. Alderman Mike Shilharvey, Ward 1, also has filed for mayor.Running for alderman in Ward 1 are Kenneth Jaseckas, incumbent Karen Casserly, and Wayne Smith. Gary Auch is unopposed in Ward 2. In Ward 3, newcomer Gary Miller will run against incumbent Bob DeLaloye. Incumbent Wright City Aldermen Dan Rowden, Ward 1, and Jim Toothman, Ward 2, filed for re-election. Toothman will face a challenge from newcomers Nathan Rohr, Amanda Werremeyer and Nathan Essary for the Ward 2 board seat.The Truesdale ballot also has two at-large board of aldermen seats, which will go to incumbent Alderman Stanley D. Brookshier and newcomer Robert Green. Incumbent Truesdale Mayor Murray A. Bruer filed to seek another two-year term. No one filed to oppose him. In Marthasville, two incumbents — Mayor David Lange and East Ward Alderman Dan Grafrath — filed for re-election. Newcomers Leo Meyer and Keith Hagedorn filed for West Ward alderman.Three incumbents — Jeff Thomsen, Jerry Rust and Trish Dunn — filed for re-election to the Innsbrook board.Six people are running for three seats in the Warren County R-III School Board. They are incumbent Laurie Wenzel and newcomers John Cornell, Franci Schwartz, Rodger Tucker Jr., Cary Tonioli and Tony Tiller. Duane Swacker filed and dropped out. The Wright City R-II School Board has three seats up for election. All are three-year terms. Alice Jensen, an incumbent, filed for re-election. Also filed are newcomers Thomas Matthew Uhl and Michael Bates, and incumbent Heidi Box. Warren County Ambulance District has two seats up for election, one in Subdistrict 1 and one in Subdistrict 4. Incumbent Phil Tallo, Subdistrict 1, has filed for re-election and incumbent Jonathan Laubert, Subdistrict 4, also filed for re-election.The Marthasville Community Ambulance District has two seats up for election, one in Subdistrict 1 and one in Subdistrict 4. Incumbent Alice Kluesner filed for Subdistrict 4. Incumbent Larry Brewe filed for Subdistrict 1. Warrenton Fire Protection District has one seat up for election with a six-year term.
