Camdenton man charged with statutory sodomy, child molestation and incest in Warren County stemming from 2017 assault

A Camdenton man is facing multiple felony charges stemming from alleged sex acts with a minor stemming from 2017.

Ryan Robinson, 35, has been charged with statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years of age, two counts of first-degree child molestation and one count of incest. All charges are filed. A warrant was issued for Robinson's arrest on July 28. He has been ordered to be held without bond..

According to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Department Captain Scott Schoenfeld, the department began an investigation into the sexual assault of a female juvenile in June 2017.

During two interviews with the victim, she told officers Robinson would make her touch him inappropriately including oral sex acts. She demonstrated these acts on an anatomically correct doll. The victim was five or six years of age when the assaults occurred, according to the probable cause statement.

On June 19, 2025, Robinson admitted to O’Fallon Police Department Detective Christian Aarns that he had sexually assaulted the victim on more than one occasion in Warrenton, according to the probable cause statement.

Schoenfeld also reported Robinson had admitted to the rape of an unrelated, unconscious victim.
