A seminar for business succession planning will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at East Central College.Existing businesses in need of a transition or exit strategy from any sector, including family-owned and agribusiness, will receive the most benefit from the seminar. The seminar will feature topics on successor development and preparation, family and business preparation, the impact of a new owner, what a business is worth, financial statement analysis and trends, and developing a team of professionals. The session will be presented by Greg Tucker from Small Business & Technology Development Centers.The cost to attend the seminar is $49, which includes breakfast, materials, and networking.
