Mr. Bruce Lee Bote of Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Wesley and Carolyn (nee: Brockfeld) Bote on December 10, 1956, in Troy. He had reached the age of 69 years.
Bruce was united in marriage to Carrie Ann (nee: Jones) Bote on November 19, 1997. They found happiness together in life's simple pleasure. Bruce enjoyed spending time fishing, playing cards with family and friends, and entertaining others through karaoke, playing the guitar, and hunting. He also took great pride in tending his garden, where he grew both flowers and vegetables. He enjoyed the outdoors, sharing music and laughter, or creating lasting memories with loved ones. Bruce embraced each day with a generous spirit and an appreciation for the people and hobbies that brought him joy. He was a devoted family man and his family was always his highest priority, and he treasured everyone of them.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Ann Bote; four step children, Joseph Augusta ( Kari), April Augusta, George Augusta, and Dorothy Capistrant (Dennis); twelve wonderful grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five siblings, Brian Bote, Brent Bote, Linda Lee, Lorna Korte, Laura Hunt; nieces and nephews, and many other friends.
The family hosted a visitation on Monday, August 3, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton with a service that immediately followed. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Bruce.
