The contractor on the new Highway 47 bridge project will be closing one lane on the existing bridge during the week of Nov. 14.Crews will close one lane on the bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15, through Thursday, Nov. 17, in order to install monitoring equipment on the bridge.Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the closure, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.The work will be done as weather permits.MoDOT
